In-Line Strainer – For DN025
Fermentation separation, also known as downstream processing, is the process of separating and purifying desired products from the
fermentation broth after a fermentation process is complete.
This strainer serves as a first stage filter, preventing particles larger than Ø5,5mm to enter the more sensitive separation stages like centrifugation, adsorption, chromatography, distillation, and membrane separation
The IBS100612 fits inside a standard DN025 coupling, without any other steps necessary, and protects the downstream processes from damage, while only introducing minimal flow reduction of >3%, due to the optimized design.
Replacing the strainer is simple, while performing standard maintenance routines of the coupling.
